Crash when opening WiX Setup Editor (VS2013)

description

I have a number of VS2013 solutions, each containing a C++ application project and a number of C++ LIB and DLL projects. In one of these solutions I have created a WiX setup project and used the Wax plugin to select the deployable application and DLLs. When I created this installer project I had some (COMException) issues, but some how managed to resolve them.

I'm now trying to deploy another of my solutions and I'm hitting the same issue, only this time I cannot resolve them.

I have created a new WiX Installer project and updated the Manufacturer tag - this allows me to build the empty installer.

When I open the WiX Setup Editor I get an error, see attachment. I get the same issue when I hit Refresh.
InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005) error
at
VSLangProj.Reference.het_SourceProject()
at
tomenglertde.Wax.Model.VisualStudio.Project.<get_ProjectReferences>
When the editor opens I have no Setup projects to edit and all boxes display a red exclamation mark.

As I have overcome this issue once before I suspect the issue lies with my solution setup, or my WiX installer project settings. Is this a known issue and is there a solution?

I am using
WiX Toolset Ver: 3.10.0
Wax Ver: 1.0.10.0

This should be fixed in 1.0.11. Can you verify this?

Thanks for the quick update. Unfortunately it does not solve the issue, although I think it changes the message, see attached.

Is there a better way for me to test this, rather than you publish a new version for each iteration?

Sorry, lost track of this since now the project is on GitHub.
I've fixed this in 1.0.13.
If you like you can download the sources an run it in the debugger.
